I’m Launa – a 47-year-old Gen X woman, a survivor of narcissistic abuse, and someone rebuilding her life after trauma, betrayal, and emotional warfare.
In February 2024, my life changed forever in an ER room. While I was unconscious, my abusive ex-husband gave the hospital staff five false psychiatric diagnoses—all lies. Instead of being treated for my medical emergency, I was held on an involuntary psychiatric hold based on his manipulation.
A month later, he walked out. I was taking a shower. No goodbye, no warning—just silence. He cut all communication, filed for divorce, and disappeared.
Since then, he’s weaponized the legal system, bankrupted me, turned my own mother against me, and continues to harass and stalk me.
But here I am.
I’m telling my story because this kind of abuse thrives in silence—and I refuse to stay silent any longer.
